The main purpose of this role is to manage the pricing, products, rebates, quotes, market intelligence and competitive price positioning of the Vegware products in the UK, EU and Global marketplace.

Duties and key responsibilities
Contribute to pricing and bid strategy within the company for the UK, EU & Global markets.
Advise and set the prices and margins to ensure sales wins and profitability.
Work on continuous improvements to develop margin in the company.
Monitor and adhere to key clients' price increase windows to ensure customer agreements are met and margin develops across the company.
Manage and report rebates on an ongoing basis.
Monitor and maintain marketing intelligence and competitive information in order to base decisions on the right price positioning of the Vegware products according to the company strategy.
Monitor and advise on supplier costs and landed prices to highlight any issues affecting the price positioning of the products in the marketplace.
Contribute to the setting and management procedures in the Commercial Team, and ensure they are followed.
Work closely with the sales team to support with customer quotes and be part of shaping all relevant procedures and guidelines.
Manage and maintain all product specifications in all systems. Highlight any product specification issues that affect customers or supply chain and recommend solutions.
Support in the implementation of new product launches in the company, engagement in commercial validation of NPD projects.
Ensure exceptional and mutually beneficial support and service is provided to Vegware's international partners and ROW sales team.
Support the sales team with pricing on specialist and bespoke items as well as providing specialist quotations as required.
Examine the product range for slow moving lines or product re-launch required and coordinate with operations, supply chain, sales, creative and comms to ensure maximum success and sales growth.
Provide reporting, documentation and analysis support for other business functions.
Support the operations and accounts teams with customer pricing queries to ensure accurate and consistent invoicing.
Support and continuously improve interdepartmental communications.
Act at all times as an ambassador for the business.

Experience of working with International customers, and in particular UK & European markets would be useful.
Knowledge
Understanding of pricing mechanisms
Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel would be essential
Experience of Microsoft NetSuite is desirable.
Packaging background would be beneficial.
