We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to work in a dynamic and exciting environment.





The Commercial Analyst will work within the Commercial team to report, manage and analyse costs within Technology at ASDA. This will include reporting the health of the overall Technology project portfolio, providing guidance on budget planning and reporting, working with the Finance team to ensure Technology has cost control and ensuring we comply with governance processes for capital approval and other spend.



You will need to build strong relationships across the wider function and will be given the opportunity to hold individuals and teams to account to deliver on their commitments.



The Ins and Outs:



Producing accurate, timely commercial information that supports forecasting and spend management. Providing reporting and analytics to senior stakeholders including CIO and CTO on a regular basis Challenging spend to ensure we deliver our financial commitments Providing management information that drives financial decisions and allows for effective management of ASDA Technology as a business. Working closely with the Project Management community on Project spend Working as part of a team to drive governance

Key relationships

:


Direct reporting into the Commercial Manager Day to Day interaction with Project Managers and Senior Technology Management Close relationships with a number of areas outside IT including Finance, Procurement and the People teams
