Commercial and Export Co-Ordinator
to join our UK Supply Customer Service team based in Cheltenham. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our export operations, ensuring timely and compliant despatch of customer shipments, supporting internal teams, and maintaining high standards of service across our global network.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...
Preparing and processing export documentation including despatch notes, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
Liaising with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely despatch and compliance with legislation.
Supporting operating companies from order receipt through to shipment.
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems to meet compliance obligations.
Responding to internal and external customer queries regarding shipments and orders.
Ensuring Known Consignor status and regulated freight forwarding compliance.
Reducing export costs through competitive quotations and efficient logistics.
Monitoring and expediting overdue and priority orders using tools like PowerBI and E1.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and analysing operational efficiencies.
Your previous experience is likely to include....
Working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Following procedures and managing multiple tasks effectively.
Providing excellent customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preparing compliant shipping paperwork and understanding export procedures.
Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with Incoterms, trade terms, and VAT rules for exports.
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as freight forwarders and the Chamber of Commerce.
