Job Description
This Commercial Assistant Accountant role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with solid transactional accounting experience to move into a commercially focused accounting role.
As the Commercial Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation or both new and existing monthly reports as required
- Assist with month end production of monthly management information and reports
- Analysis and reporting to track actual performance versus target and associated variance analysis
- Managing the WIP and billing fundamentals; monitor profitability and budgets
- Preparation of work-in-progress reports and monitoring of WIP & billing for clients and divisions
- Support the implementation of new information systems or technologies
- Maintain areas of master data in the system in line with agency standards
- Adhoc financial tasks as required
To be considered for the Commercial Assistant Accountant role you must have the following:
- Actively studying AAT / ACCA / CIMA
- Experience within an accounting role (commercial experience desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with operational teams
