We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant to support our commercial team in managing smooth running of the daily operations like control of costs, assisting with procurement and administrative tasks such as recording of workforce time and attendance and data reporting.
Reporting to the Deputy Commercial Manager this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within the dynamic team.

Shift pattern of 9-day fortnight (Monday - Friday on week one then Monday - Thursday on week two)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and management of project costs and contracts.
Data Collection
Providing quotations for additional, out of scope, works.
Assembling monthly payment applications
Carry out cost/value exercises
Working with the Commercial Manager in providing cost advice to client and team
Aiding in the commercial awareness of Operational teams, including taking them through their yearly budgets.
Assisting the Commercial Manager in creating and maintaining visual data presentations, including graphs and charts
Managing data reporting metrics for success against agreed KPI's
Data forecasting for labour and material
Assisting with Time and Attendance requests
What we need from you:
CITB HSE Operative Test (must be obtained before start date).
Commercial Management qualification or working towards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of the team
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyse and understand data and present it to others in different formats.
Ability to think and act quickly under pressure.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar programs is desirable but not essential.
Proven track record in large scale projects in nuclear or similar background will be an added advantage.
Site Specific Information
You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history for vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
This is a site-based role, and the HPC site is located remotely. A shuttle bus journey of approximately 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
