Job Summary:

Our Commercial Banking (CB) EMEA Payments business is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a Senior Associate of Program and Business Management based in London. The position reports directly to the Managing Director of CB EMEA Solutions.

The Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting specialized product strategy for high-priority client use-cases in the Commercial Bank by articulating the value proposition, optimizing current capabilities, and building prioritized business cases. The successful candidate should be highly collaborative to work with product and sales teams as well as functional partners to assimilate data and voice of customer to evaluate current and potential investments to drive growth and client experience.

Core activities include coordinating and analysing internal as well as external research, reviewing financial results and preparing recommendations for how to increase the adoption of solutions through the development of products or improved positioning.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Market intelligence to incorporate requirements and recommendations to inform product improvements and the overall experience for the Commercial Banking segments, including the prioritization of business cases within the Investment Planning Process.
  • Maintenance of the high-level EMEA Payments Roadmap to clearly outline the benefits to CB clients and their end-customers
  • Go-to-market planning / tracking of product launches and business changes to ensure positive client outcomes and feedback
  • Program governance / reporting for Commercial Banking stakeholders of key initiatives to drive growth and business efficiencies (e.g., rollout of new pricing strategies)
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis to explain product-level variances, penetration levels, win-loss ratios and other key metrics for the purpose of supporting product and sales teams to drive profitable growth
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • 3+ years of relevant Finance, Business Management or Strategy experience (with Payments knowledge as a key plus)
  • Ability to translate data and strategies into business-friendly language, including a clear articulation of the benefits to improving the client experience and core value proposition
  • Proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives
  • Ability to quickly build models that use data to explore key problem statements and evaluate the opportunities to solve them with a solid return to the firm
