Commercial Coordinator REPORTS TO: Commercial Manager

Job Summary
The Commercial Coordinator will support the Commercial Manger & Commercial Director in delivering high-quality service to customers and executing commercial strategies. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills who is eager to grow within a fast-paced produce industry environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in preparing customer presentations, reports, and sales data analysis.
Support demand forecasting and inventory tracking processes.
Help coordinate tenders, pricing reviews, and customer communications.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, pricing agreements, and KPIs.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, sourcing) to ensure smooth
operations.
Monitor competitor activity and compile market insights for the commercial team.
Assist with NPD initiatives including packaging research and sustainability tracking.
Provide administrative support for trade shows, customer visits, and internal meetings.
Help manage CRM systems and ensure data integrity (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Support branding and marketing activities in line with company guidelines.
Analyse & interpret market data with actions & recommendations.
Communicate with customers about orders & delivery schedules.
Health & Safety
Ensure that any remedial actions that are beyond your scope of authorization are brought to the attention of their immediate Line Manager
Maintain safety discipline within their area of work and ensure Health & Safety procedures are complied with.
Co-operate with managers and supervisors on all Health & Safety matters.
Not interfere with anything provided to safeguard the health & safety of themselves or others.
Take reasonable care of their Health and Safety and others.
Report all Health and Safety concerns, unsafe situations, or unsafe practices immediately to an appropriate person.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in a commercial, sales support, or administrative role would be preferrable, but suitable equivalent qualifications / skills will also be considered.
Willingness to learn and develop within the produce industry.
