Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Executive with a passion for cricket and a strong interest in sports sponsorship. Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will support our efforts to grow sponsorship and advertising revenues across our multi-platforms.

You will assist with lead generation, pitch and proposal creation, campaign delivery, and client servicing -- playing a key role in helping Wisden unlock commercial opportunities with brands who want to connect with our engaged cricket audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Commercial Director in generating advertising and sponsorship revenue across Wisden's platforms.
Assist in the development of sales decks, sponsorship proposals, and branded content packages.
Conduct research to identify new prospects across brands and agencies relevant to cricket audiences.
Maintain and manage a CRM system to track leads, outreach, and deal progress.
Support the execution and delivery of branded campaigns, working with internal teams (editorial, design, social, video, analytics).
Help prepare post-campaign reports with performance data and insights.
Help manage key accounts and maintain good relationships with existing clients.
Keep track of market trends, competitor activity, and partnership opportunities within cricket and wider sport.
Attend client meetings and industry events.

Understanding of the cricket landscape in the UK and globally
An entrepreneurial spirit
Great communication and interpersonal skills - confident in engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Proactive, highly organised, and comfortable working across multiple projects Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset

Preferred, but not essential skills:

1-2 years' experience in a media, commercial, marketing or sponsorship-related role
Prior experience in a sports media, publishing, or digital content environment
Understanding of branded content, digital ad metrics (e.g., impressions, CTR, CPM), or social media campaign delivery
Awareness of brands and industries investing in cricket sponsorship
