The Role

We are looking for a Designer to join our expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their design career, looking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced commercial sector. You'll work alongside our design and project teams to support the development of technical construction focused drawings, visualisations, and design documentation for commercial fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the team develop accurate CAD design drawings and layout plans for partitioning and fit-out projects - Consisting of technical detail drawings, Glazing details, Ceilings, Reflected Ceiling Plans, Partition Plans and Junction Detailing

Liaise with Project Managers to ensure design intent is maintained through to delivery

Maintain and update design documentation, drawing registers and uploading drawings to portals

Conduct site visit surveys and attend client meetings when required

Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and building regulations

Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD essential / Revit preferable / knowledge of BIM

Ability to manage time and workload across multiple projects

Preferable

Relevant degree or qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or relevant design is useful

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and/or SketchUp is a bonus

Understanding of building construction, 2D and 3D technical drawings, and commercial interiors

Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

Full UK driving licence (preferred due to office location and site visit requirements)
