Medway Heating are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer for an immediate start based in the Northwest area.

We have a wide range of valued customers including school, religious organisations, local councils, hospitals and private companies. Most of our work is commercial with the occasional domestic job. Nearly all our work is in the Northwest, with no requirement for working away or need to participate in an on-call rota.
Job role
As a commercial gas engineer your day will include:
Fault finding / repair of commercial plant room equipment i.e. boilers, vessels, pumps, valves etc
Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on commercial gas appliances and heating systems.
Complete annual servicing and safety checks per Gas Safe and manufacturer standards.
Complete job paperwork, certificates and quote requests at the time of visit.
Diagnose faults in BMS systems, pipework, pumps, and controls.
Make repairs in a timely manner to reduce downtime.
Installation, testing, and commissioning of new commercial gas equipment.
Ensure installations meet regulations and company standards.
Demonstrate how to operate new commercial gas equipment to clients.
At all times working to Gas Safe, HSE, and company safety guidelines.
Work according to risk assessments and method statements.
Have a professional attitude while engaging with clients to maintain the relationships we have built.
Be flexible with our customers needs when working in their properties.
Participate in training and toolbox talks to ensure we remain compliant and up to date in the industry.
About You
Requirements
City & Guilds NVQ level 2 or equivalent
Experience in fault finding heating equipment within a commercial Building
ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications
Strong commercial plumbing knowledge
Full UK driving licence
Good time management
Must be capable of working alone and as part of a team
Working confidently in commercial environments, adhering to all H&S requirements
