Job Summary

:
Are you a qualified commercial gas engineer looking to join a growing team? We are seeking a skilled professional to deliver reactive and planned maintenance across commercial sites. You'll ensure compliance with safety standards, provide first-time fixes, and support our clients with exceptional service. This role involves working on plant rooms, heating systems, and associated mechanical equipment.

Duties:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and commissioning of commercial gas appliances and systems Respond to reactive maintenance calls and deliver first-time fixes where possible Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with schedules Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures Diagnose faults and provide technical solutions efficiently Maintain accurate job records using CRM systems (e.g., Big Change) Liaise with clients professionally and uphold company standards Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota as required

Skills & Certifications:

Current commercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A) Valid Gas Safe registration Knowledge of mechanical systems and plant room operations Full UK driving licence Familiarity with CRM systems and reactive workflow.

Preferred experience & background:

Proven experience in commercial gas engineering within building services Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines under pressure Understanding of compliance and safety standards
