Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Gas Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work across both commercial and domestic environments, carrying out installations, servicing, and repairs on a range of gas systems. This position calls for strong technical ability, a solid understanding of safety requirements, and confidence in using a variety of tools and equipment. We're seeking someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in line with industry regulations and best practices

Carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure ongoing safe operation of gas equipment

Diagnose faults using mechanical knowledge and appropriate tools

Apply plumbing skills to safely connect or disconnect gas pipework

Handle and move equipment or materials safely as part of installation or maintenance work

Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites

Assist in assembling gas-related components both on-site and in workshop settings

Keep accurate records of all work completed and materials used

Follow all health and safety procedures without exception

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar technical role

ACS Gas Safety certification (or equivalent qualification)

Competent in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and using both power and hand tools

Strong mechanical understanding, including diagnostic and repair skills

Ability to safely manage heavy lifting tasks

Full valid driving licence suitable for commercial use

Basic numeracy skills for measurements and calculations

Excellent organisation and attention to detail

Clear and professional communication skills for working with clients and colleagues
