Commercial Gas Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a rapidly growing SME within Mechanical Services who operate in the social housing and development industries. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer experienced in installation, of commercial pipework, testing & purging, installation of commercial appliances. Flexible team player able to adapt to different types of work, such as domestic and commercial projects and learn new skills as the demand of work requires.
This role will be required to cover sites in and across West London as well as surrounding Home Counties. You will be provided with a work van and tools required for the role. Full UK driving licence is required
Key Duties:
Servicing, Installation and reactive repairs Commercial gas service, repairs, installations Service, maintenance, and breakdowns Installation of commercial plant rooms, PPM's and asset management Working on various boilers, burners and heating distribution systems Keeping in contact with the bookings team and engineering support to help organise daily/weekly schedule's Liaising with customers, providing quotes and delivering a great service at all times Working on a PDA and iPad Mobile role covering surrounding territory
You must hold the relevant City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent qualifications. The ideal candidate will also have their gas safety, first fix pipework and commercial appliances qualifications
Paying between 55k and 65k dependant on experience and qualifications. The company also offers a competitive overtime and call out rates
