About Blue Wire

Blue Wire M&E are a growing installation, maintenance and service provider delivering plumbing, heating, gas, HVAC and electrical services throughout the UK. Our work covers:

commercial offices and workplaces universities and schools hospitality & leisure public-sector refurbishments mechanical upgrades and PPM contracts
Most work is based within 1.5 hours of Leeds, with occasional short periods working away when required.

The Role

This is a senior hands-on role covering a broad range of commercial mechanical work, including:

installation of commercial heating and plumbing systems plant room upgrades and refurbishments commercial plumbing works (LSTs, sanitaryware, pipework, etc.) supporting small-medium project works planned maintenance and occasional reactive works working as lead engineer on certain refurb projects liaising with our operations team to deliver quality work
We're rebuilding and strengthening our mechanical team -- so this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants stability, variety, and progression.

What We're Looking For

Strong experience in commercial plumbing and heating Confident working independently and running work on site Comfortable installing, modifying or assisting with plant room works Good understanding of commercial systems and safe working practices Full UK driving licence Gas qualifications beneficial but not essential (we can support training)
