We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker (Accounts Executive) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, with scope for professional development and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with FCA regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and introducers, acting as a trusted adviser
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling during renewals and mid-term adjustments
Deliver bespoke insurance solutions tailored to individual client needs
Support clients through the claims process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience
Prepare market presentations and conduct broking exercises
Maintain accurate client records using Acturis and other systems
Ensure compliance with FCA, GDPR, IDD, and internal policies
Report regularly to senior management on performance and client activity
Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain high professional standards
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience in insurance broking, account management, or sales (essential)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Proactive approach with a focus on results and client satisfaction
Fluent English speaker (additional languages are advantageous)
Right to work in the UK (essential)
Familiarity with FCA regulations and commercial insurance products (desirable)
Experience with Acturis or similar CRM platforms (desirable)
