Leading Edge offers complete design, manufacture and build services which cover the whole of the UK, alongside our sister company Tomlinson Construction. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Commercial Interior Designer.

We is looking for someone who proactively thinks, questions and refines design concepts and drawings.

Creating drawing packages for high-end interior projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing design intent interiors packages that are coordinated, considered and buildable Developing spatial proportion, layout and architectural logic Bespoke joinery - fixed and loose furniture. Bespoke fabrication - fixture and fittings, internal and external signage, shelves and furniture Ceiling treatments Lighting schemes Flooring Shop fronts Key junctions and interfaces Material applications, profiles and transitions Resolving design decisions such as mitres, rebates, shadow gaps and unique edge details Exploring and testing design options in collaboration with senior designers Ensuring drawings clearly communicate intent to consultants and specialist contractors Working closely with architects, third party interior designers and fabrication/joinery teams
Desired experience

3+ years' experience in commercial interior design or architecture Revit proficiency (not essential) Experience working on luxury residential and/or hospitality projects A deep understanding of proportion, materials and bespoke joinery Experience producing design intent and fully technical drawing packs The ability to balance creative ambition with practical, buildable solutions A portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful detailing and interior craftsmanship
