Due to continued growth, we're looking for a

Commercial Laundry Engineer

servicing, repairs, and installations

Key Responsibilities

Service & Maintenance:

Perform routine servicing and maintenance on commercial laundry machinery for care homes, hotels, hospitals, and similar facilities.

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

Quickly and accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults.

Repairs & Part Replacement:

Carry out safe, effective repairs to minimize client downtime.

Installations:

Install new commercial laundry systems and ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Preventive Maintenance:

Help customers avoid breakdowns through proactive maintenance measures.

Compliance & Safety:

Work to the highest standards of health, safety, and manufacturer guidelines.

Emergency Support:

Respond promptly to urgent callouts when required.

Client Communication:

Build strong relationships through clear communication and professional service.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate service reports and job records.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with colleagues and support the wider engineering team.

Essential Requirements

Experience:

Proven experience working with commercial laundry equipment (required).

Qualifications:

Commercial Gas Laundry certifications (CLE1 / CCLNG1). Gas Safe certification (required). Recognized Electrical or Engineering qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.

Technical Skills:

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.

IT Skills:

PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.

Compliance:

Health & Safety certification (CSCS card preferred).

Other:

Full UK driving licence (required). Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer focus.

Experience

Minimum

3 years' experience

in Commercial Laundry Engineering or Maintenance (required).

Licence/Certification

Full UK Driving Licence

(required).
