About Us
Middle Aston House is an historic Oxfordshire estate currently being developed into a
lifestyle hospitality and events destination. Alongside this, we manage a portfolio of
residential and commercial properties across the region. We are seeking a Commercial
Manager to take a leading role in shaping our commercial strategy, managing client
relationships, and ensuring the smooth running of business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Development
o Plan and deliver commercial strategies to grow revenue across Middle Aston
House (hospitality, weddings, and events) and the wider property portfolio.
o Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities
and develop pricing and sales strategies.
Property Management & Lettings
o Oversee lettings, contracts, and tenant relations across the managed property
portfolio.
o Ensure compliance with property regulations and maintain high standards of
service delivery.
Marketing & Client Engagement
o Lead marketing campaigns for Middle Aston House, including events,
weddings, hospitality services, and potentially membership programmes.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
o Promote the estate's cultural, hospitality, and leisure offerings to domestic and
international audiences.
Operational Management
o Support day-to-day business operations at Middle Aston House, working
closely with the senior management team.
o Liaise with solicitors on contracts, property agreements, compliance, and other
legal matters
o Monitor budgets, prepare reports, and advise on cost efficiency and revenue
growth.
o Supervise staff engaged in marketing, sales, and client service activities.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, Property Manager, or in a senior
marketing/business development role.
Strong understanding of property lettings, hospitality, or lifestyle/hotel management.
Excellent financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and contracts.
Skilled communicator with the ability to develop relationships across a diverse client
base.
Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to deliver operational results.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 51,000.00-52,000.00 per year
