Commercial Planning Manager

Job Description


A successful international retail business is looking for a Commercial Planning Manager in North Bradford on a permanent basis and is a great opportunity for someone to play a key role within the finance team.

This role is suited to someone who is ACCA / CIMA qualified (finalists considered), has experience working in a commercial finance capacity, has advanced Excel skills and is comfortable building relationships with internal stakeholders to support the growth of the business.

Role responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership for the management of detailed commercial plans
- Reporting against agreed targets
- Building relationships across the wider business to collate, report and challenge commercial costs
- Play a lead role in the planning and improvement of the budgeting process
- Engaging with stakeholders proactively to highlight opportunities and risks
- Building commercial models to support forecasting
- Conduct research to identify market trends and advise business leaders
- Advising and approving commercial plans
- Ad-hoc analysis and financial reporting
