The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Planning Manager, the role of Commercial Planning, Senior Executive will form an integral part of the team assisting with both the strategic and tactical planning for P&O cruises.

This exciting role has the opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders across both commercial departments (Sales, Marketing, Brand, Revenue Management, PR, Insight, CCO and Finance) as well as the wider business.

You will:

  • Assist the Commercial Planning Manager with the coordination of guest facing promotional campaign- and programme launch strategies
  • Build, maintain and evolve the long term commercial plan for the brand
  • Lead on all commercial readiness forums, such as \'Launch Squad\', chair meetings and coordinate any tactical planning activities to support our immediate trading requirements
  • Work with our reporting and revenue management teams to track in-campaign performance
  • Work with our reporting team (MIS) to evolve commercial planning reporting to improve our ability to track performance against key initiatives and highlight risks and opportunities to the business
  • Communicate any new fares and/ or offers to key internal stakeholders, ensuring all business areas are engaged and gaps are communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Be involved in collation of key business reports, ensuring these are of a suitable standard to be presented to company\'s executive leadership team and board of directors
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a full time fixed term contract basis until Mid June 2024, with at least two days based in our Southampton office.
