CommercialProperty Manager
Join a small team working for a family run property company as an assistant to the Property Director, helping in the management of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties valued at over 300m. This role is ideal for a recently RICS qualified professional with a solid background in property management, or someone not qualified but has experience working in a professional office.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, and break dates.
Provide advice on property legislation and stay updated on relevant case law.
Work closely with solicitors, agents and other property professionals on ongoing instructions.
Liaison with tenants to ensure compliance with their lease obligations.
Address general property management issues promptly and effectively.
Liaison with contractors to ensure efficient property management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
RICS qualification with at least 2 years experience.
Proven experience in managing a mixed portfolio of properties, particularly in investment and management aspects.
Strong understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with tenants, contractors, and professional advisors.
Ability to work effectively in a small team and contribute to the family business environment.
