About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their Real Estate team in Birmingham. This strategic hire will support the team's growing workload and complex development projects. You will work closely with a long-standing client base and be involved in large-scale, high-value development matters.
In this role, you will lead and manage a caseload of complex development transactions, including site acquisitions, disposals, and funding arrangements. You'll provide strategic legal advice on commercial property matters, with a focus on development work, and support clients with structuring and negotiating a range of commercial development agreements.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice and enjoys working collaboratively across teams to deliver integrated legal solutions.
The Team
The Birmingham Real Estate team is nationally recognised for its expertise in development work. Acting for a wide range of clients, including major developers, landowners, and institutional investors, the team is known for its straight-talking, forward-thinking approach and for building long-term relationships.
You'll join a collaborative, commercially minded team that works closely with other departments, including planning, construction, and tax, to deliver high-quality legal services that help clients achieve their goals.
The Person
We're looking for a qualified solicitor with 4-8 years PQE and significant experience in development work. You'll have a strong understanding of the commercial property market and ideally experience in funding, general commercial property, and mixed-use schemes.
You'll be confident in building and maintaining client relationships and have excellent communication skills. Proactive, collaborative, and ambitious, you'll have a strong team ethic and a desire to progress within a growing and dynamic team.
