Commercial Sales Manager
to lead business growth across key accounts and new business channels.
The Opportunity
This is a senior-level position designed for a proven sales leader in the
construction materials or concrete supply
sector. You will take full ownership of regional sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and manage high-value client relationships across a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business development with contractors, developers, and infrastructure clients
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts across Essex and Southeast England
Lead tendering, pricing, and contract negotiation processes
Collaborate with operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure project delivery
Provide market insights to inform commercial strategy and product positioning
Deliver and exceed revenue and margin targets Maintain accurate records ensuring all sales processes are followed.
Leverage market data to identify opportunities and improve customer experience.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve the company's revenue objectives
Lead, mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to generate new business opportunities
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
Required Experience
? Minimum
3 years of B2B sales experience
in the
concrete, aggregates, or construction materials
sector
? Proven track record of
meeting or exceeding sales targets
in a regional or key account role
? Strong network within the
building, civil engineering, or infrastructure
sectors
? Commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex, high-value deals
? Full UK driving licence - frequent travel within the region is required
