Working within the Legal & Compliance team and the Marketing and Sales sub-team, this is a critical and exciting role requiring an enthusiastic Solicitor to support with providing advice to the business and making decisions concerning legal risks with affect JLR in licensing its intellectual property.

What you\'ll need

As the successful candidate in this fantastic opportunity, you will have excellent exposure of working in a cross-functional team. You will be working closely with the relevant business teams and advising on and drafting licences mainly relating to copyright, trade marks and database rights. You will apply working knowledge of key legal practices and principles for the UK, EU and globally where required. You will be expected to roll-out of training to the business as required.

Knowledge, skills & experience

Essential

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with at least 3+ years PQE.
• Drafting and negotiation of licences.

Candidates that have experience of working globally and understanding of additional jurisdictions outside of the UK would be of significant interest.

This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office.
