A rare opportunity has become available for a Commercial Solicitor to join a market leading firm based in Oxford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside leading professionals within a highly regarded, Top Tier firm expanding your knowledge and expertise within Commercial Law.

The ideal Candidate will have 2+ years post qualification experience gained in a large regional, national or international firm. You will have excellent technical skills in commercial law with a strong interest in IP, IT and information law. You will be a commercially-minded lawyer, who is prepared to turn your hand to a wide range of work.

Main duties will include, but may not be limited to:

• Assisting in a range of key sectors, including automotive, manufacturing, education, health, central government, food and agriculture, charities, technology and life sciences.
• Dealing with both start-up and household name clients across a range of sectors.
• Liaising with Clients and other members of the team including working closely alongside Commercial Partners.
• Managing own caseload.
• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of licence agreements, commercial contracts, including standard terms and conditions, outsourcing agreements, distributorship and agency agreements, website terms of use and privacy policies, supply contracts and joint venture agreements.
• Advising on intellectual property ownership issues, data protection and public procurement strategy and documentation.
