Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Commis to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation and support the kitchen operations to ensure high standards of quality and safety. Duties

Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and basic cooking tasks. Support the kitchen team in meal assembly and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in accordance with food safety standards. Follow recipes and portion controls accurately to ensure consistency. Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed. Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of meals. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices. Basic culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation processes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior chefs. Prior experience in serving or supporting front-of-house operations is a plus but not essential. Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
