Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation ensuring that high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen. This role is perfect for individuals looking to advance their skills with the preparation of salads, pizza and contributing to our busy service times.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. Work on the sections listed below, including chopping, mixing, and plating. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service periods. Follow instructions from senior chefs regarding menu items and special requests from guests. Uphold a positive attitude and contribute to a harmonious working environment within the team.
Experience is necessary and you will need your own transport sure to our rural location. Unfortunately there is no direct bus route to us.

The hours are split over a four day week which will involve working on weekend days. It will be a split shift with the hours of 10-2.30pm and 4.30-9pm. The shift pattern may change due to staff holidays etc.

You will be required to prep for the sections of Starters, Pizza and Puddings and the work these sections during service. You will be supervised at all times.

You will also get an hourly share of our tips (approximately 1.50 per hour)
