Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Support the team in managing inventory, including receiving and storing food supplies.
Participate in menu planning and execution, contributing creative ideas to enhance offerings.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Supervise junior kitchen staff as required, fostering a positive team environment.
Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout all kitchen operations.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on food production and preparation.
Culinary qualifications or training are advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
