We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior kitchen staff. Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and hygiene standards. Contribute to menu planning and inventory management, ensuring all ingredients are stocked and available. Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen. Participate in catering events and banquets, providing exceptional food service to guests. Collaborate with kitchen management to implement effective shift management practices. Engage in food handling and storage procedures, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with training new kitchen staff, sharing knowledge of cooking techniques and food service practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably within fine dining or catering environments. Strong background in food production, preparation, and service management. Experience with inventory control and kitchen management practices is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively. Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety regulations is essential. Excellent teamwork abilities with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Culinary degree or equivalent experience in the food industry preferred. Familiarity with menu planning, cooking techniques, and bartending is a plus.
