Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support the team in food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and efficient kitchen operations. Participate in stock management, including receiving deliveries and inventory control. Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly. Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food preparation. Engage in continuous learning to enhance culinary techniques and knowledge.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred. Supervising experience within a kitchen environment is advantageous. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy setting. Proficient in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
