To support the kitchen team in the preparation and service of high-quality food for members, guests, events, and functions, while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, consistency, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen
Follow recipes, portion control, and standard operating procedures as directed
Support service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and golf-day catering
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in line with HACCP regulations
Carry out basic food preparation including vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and desserts
Ensure correct storage, labelling, and rotation of stock (FIFO)
Keep workstations clean, organised, and well stocked
Assist senior chefs during busy service periods and events
Learn and develop skills across different kitchen sections
Comply with health & safety and club policies at all times
Skills & Experience
Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
Passion for food and willingness to learn
Good time management and ability to work under pressure
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and events
