Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Support senior chefs in food production tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for dishes.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully before serving.
Engage in continuous learning to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
Requirements
Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
Demonstrated culinary experience with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques.
