Assist the Head Chef in preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality andiikitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste .
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
Monitor food safety practices, ensuring all staff adhere to hygiene standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary arts.
Excellent cooking skills with an understanding of various cuisines.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
