Duties
Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy periods.
Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.
Support the team in managing inventory, including receiving deliveries and stock rotation.
Assist with supervising junior kitchen staff when required, fostering a positive team environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on food production and preparation.
Demonstrated culinary experience or relevant qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
