As a Commis Chef in our hotel you will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality of customer service is provided to the guests in accordance with the Luxury Standards.
Commis Chef responsible for:
To carry out food preparation as specified by the senior chef on duty.
Set-up station properly and on time for each service period.
Be able to assist in same day prep and advance prep for another station as instructed by supervisor.
To ensure that all food is prepared hygienically and safely at all times.
To ensure that all food is stored and kept at the correct temperature at all times.
To minimize waste of any food products at all times.
Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, morning, afternoons and evenings.
