As a Commis you'll support our sommeliers, bar, and floor teams in delivering an exceptional Nobu experience. From preparing the cellar and glassware to assisting with service on the floor, your role is to ensure every detail of our wine and beverage offering is seamless, refined, and of the highest quality.
You'll:
Assist with the daily preparation and smooth running of wine and beverage service.
Work closely with the sommeliers to support service, from mise en place to guest interaction.
Maintain, organise, and rotate the wine cellar and sake fridges, ensuring they are fully stocked and perfectly presented.
Receive and check deliveries, updating systems and storage accurately.
Ensure wines are served at the right temperature and with the correct glassware.
Polish and prepare glassware, maintain fridges, and ensure bottle allocation and labelling systems are followed.
Provide attentive, genuine, and friendly service that reflects Nobu's crafted standards.
Offer knowledgeable support to guests when advising on wines, sake, and pairings, always aligning with their personal tastes and dining choices.

You have a strong interest in wine and beverage service, ideally with some previous hospitality or restaurant experience. You're organised, attentive to detail, and eager to learn from our sommeliers and FB leaders. With a genuine smile, a passion for creating memorable guest moments, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of the wider floor team, you'll thrive in Nobu's dynamic and elegant environment.
