We have an exciting opportunity for a Commissioning and Finance Support Officer to join the Strategic Delivery Partnership Team in Devon and Cornwall working 37.5 hours a week. We will also consider applications for part time hours. This role is home-based but will require some travel around the area and to our office based in Plymouth.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the Devon and Cornwall Strategic Partnership through the operational running of the contract with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC). This role has responsibility for a range of activities across the Strategic Delivery Partnership (SDP) including professional financial & business support to budget holders, collation of data and reports, co-ordinating the tendering and commissioning processes and communication with key stakeholders. To support and develop a commissioning model to identify and award suppliers of services to support victims of crime across Devon & Cornwall.

About the role:

This role is home based with frequent travel across Devon and Cornwall. As a Commissioning & Finance Support Officer you will be a motivated team player with exceptional attention to detail. The Commissioning and Finance Officer will work with a small team based across Devon and Cornwall and will be responsible for supporting the development of efficient finance and data reporting as well as good commissioning practice.

You will experience a full induction to Victim Support (national charity) as well as meeting with key stakeholders including the commissioning team at the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner. The role is varied and at certain times of the year very demanding. The SDP is committed to investing in the development of staff which includes the opportunity of further professional training.
