Self Employed - Electrical Commissioning/Test Engineer

Group Management Electrical Surveys are looking to recruit professional electricians and engineers who want a rewarding career in electrical inspection and testing.

We are a well-established, independent Electrical, Inspection, Test & Documentation specialist operating across the UK, Ireland and mainland EU. We specialize in the delivery of large and technically challenging new build construction projects such as Hospitals, Stadiums, Enterprise Data Centers, Hyperscale Data Centers, Renewable Energies, Major Construction and Pharmaceutical buildings.

What We Offer

Subcontractor rate:

28/hr

Time and a half

paid after 40 hours Opportunity for additional weekend shifts ASAP start Long-term work on an exciting new-build project in Sunderland

What you will do

The core role is inspect, test and document large new build projects and existing electrical installations to the highest possible standards using latest available test instruments. Using laptop for inputting data to GMES system on daily basis ensuring that data is both secure and easily accessible. Working on New Build construction sites where health and Safety regulations are followed. You will be required to work away from home depending on the project location (All extra costs are covered by a Company).

Required

CSCS ECS Gold Card 2391 - City&Guilds or equivalent BS7671 - 18th edition Proven experience in commercial electrical testing. Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and safety standards in commercial environments. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results. A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel and work away on various commercial sites across UK

Preferred

Minimum 1 year previous testing experience in commercial environments.
