Commissioning & Servicing Engineer

to join our close-knit, growing team.

Key Responsibilities

This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for an engineer who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and delivering top-quality workmanship.

You'll be responsible for:

Commissioning

of bespoke industrial ovens and furnaces - mainly at our factory in Newcastle-under-Lyme, with regular UK site visits

Occasional overseas travel

to support international customers

Servicing

and maintaining thermal processing equipment (ovens, dryers, furnaces)

Troubleshooting

complex faults - electrical and mechanical - and implementing solutions

Working with

advanced control systems, wiring diagrams, and multi-zone thermal controls

Diagnosing and repairing

issues across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and thermal systems

Occasional overnight stays

, mainly within the UK (fully expensed)

What You Bring

We're looking for an engineer who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and motivated by working on high-performance systems.

You'll need experience in:

Industrial electrical systems & fault finding Control systems for thermal processes Hydraulic & pneumatic systems Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams

Experience That Sets You Apart

Background in industrial furnace/oven commissioning Experience in aerospace or high-spec manufacturing environments Confidence working on customer sites, both in the UK and abroad Experience with gas burners, an advantage
