We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Executive to join our growing team and work across multiple high profile sport accounts.
Reporting into the Communications Manager, the right candidate will be proactive, highly motivated and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with some previous experience working for a brand or agency with communications or marketing.
The ability to think strategically with a results-orientated mindset will be
crucial to success in the role.
A hybrid role (minimum 3 days based in the office) in London, the Communications Executive will also be required to support the wider team with day-to-day tasks across campaigns, events, and media relations. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a real interest in brand marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Supporting the planning of campaigns, helping to gather audience insights, research media opportunities, and contribute ideas.
Assisting with the rollout of campaigns alongside rights holders, agencies, and suppliers, including coordination of assets and approvals.
Helping with day-to-day account management tasks such as maintaining campaign trackers, updating budgets, and preparing client and media coverage reports.
Supporting campaign reviews by collecting results, compiling measurement data, and contributing to recommendations for future activity.
Role specific responsibilities include:
Assisting with relationship management by supporting communication with clients, rights holders, and suppliers.
Helping to deliver communications campaigns, including drafting press releases, supporting media outreach, coordinating content distribution, and assisting with competitions or promotions.
Providing logistical support for events and press days, including helping with schedules, materials, and talent coordination.
Supporting the senior team with the preparation of weekly status meetings, planning sessions, and campaign reviews.
Assisting with budget tracking, raising POs, and keeping financial records up to date.
Contributing to the production of campaign review documents and case studies.
Collaborating closely with the wider communications team and being an active, supportive team member.
Additional Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of clear and concise internal and external presentations and reports.
Demonstrating professionalism and a positive attitude in all written, verbal, and face-to-face communications.
Accurately tracking time and expenses on a day-to-day basis to support team reporting and budget management.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
6-18 months' experience in a marketing, PR, or communications role (agency or in-house). Internship experience also valued.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interest in brand marketing, sponsorship, and the full marketing mix.
Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A proactive, "can-do" attitude, with willingness to learn and ask questions.
Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours (e.g., event support)
