About The Role

This is a full-time, permanent role based on-site in Aberlour, Moray, ideal for someone proactive, creative, and people-focused. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in delivering internal communications, celebrating the individuals behind our success, and strengthening our reputation as an Employer of Choice. From spotlight features to social media posts and weekly updates, your work will keep our values and our people front and centre.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




Curate and maintain a library of communication assets (images, graphics, videos, templates) for use across internal and external platforms. Manage and regularly update the 12-month internal content calendar to support proactive planning. Liaise and work closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to support the creation and enhancement of L&D materials, such as, training presentations, Apprenticeship programme framework and workshops. Play a proactive role in representing Walker's at key events in the local area that showcase Walker's as an Employer of Choice, such as Scottish Apprenticeship Week Fair and Moray's Career Fair. Create, update, and distribute the Weekly Headlines every Friday, ensuring information is clear, timely, and relevant. Update TV screen content weekly to reflect the Weekly Headlines. Refresh smoking shelter and toilet talker materials in line with monthly themes from the content calendar. Support the design and maintenance of recruitment and corporate materials, including advert templates, banners, PowerPoint presentations, and promotional content. Monitor and respond to queries in the Communications mailbox, ensuring timely and helpful replies. Maintain up-to-date, brand-consistent content on platforms such as Indeed and Glassdoor. Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to create engaging content for the Walkers Shortbread People social channels. Stay current on communication trends and social media best practices, bringing fresh ideas and insights to the team. Suggest and implement improvements to communication processes and tools that enhance engagement and clarity across all channels. Provide general administrative support to the team as required.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE


Proficient in digital media and content creation, experience using Canva and Adobe suite would be desirable Strong written and visual communication skills Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Collaborative team player Self-starter with a proactive mindset
