Job Description

BreakForth seeks an innovative and proactive Communications Coordinator to shares our values and promotes greater understanding of issues affecting people with mental health problems, autistic people and those with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will, therefore, need to be conversant with current issues affecting people with mental health problems, autistic people and people with learning disabilities and look at ways of engaging the public with these issues to maximise awareness and engagement.

Social Media Coordinator Job Responsibilities:



Execute a results-driven publicity and social media strategy that is current, captivating and engaging in line with current trends. Develop and curate engaging subject content for our publications and social media platforms. Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content. Attend events and produce live social media content where appropriate. Maintain unified brand voice across different publicity channels that reflect BreakForth values and support for people with mental health problems. Collaborate with BreakForth locality teams to create content that is inclusive of all areas that BreakForth covers. Monitor social media channels for industry trends and be responsive accordingly Interact with users and respond to publicity messages, inquiries, and comments. Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy. The successful candidate will need to have a clean driving licence and use of a car for business purposes.

Social Media Coordinator Qualifications / Skills:



Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML will be beneficial. Excellent social listening skills Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space Strong copywriting and copy editing skills Excellent oral and verbal communication skills Great time management skills with the ability to multitask Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Experience Requirements:



Direct experience using different publicity and content platforms. and social media management tools Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools would be beneficial Experience of working in any capacity in the mental health social care industry would be highly desired
Students with the right skills and/or experience are welcome to apply as the hours can be worked flexibly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
