is looking for a creative and organised

Communications Coordinator

to help grow our influence, engage our vibrant community of music managers, and drive member recruitment and retention.

The MMF is the largest representative body of music managers in the world, working hard to support our members with advocacy, education, and providing community. As a small dynamic and diverse team, we deliver a range of programmes and events with a vast range of industry partners - from our high-profile Artist & Manager Awards to our impactful education activities such as the Accelerator programme.

We need someone like you to help amplify our voice and make an impact across the music industry.

The Role



As Communications Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our communications plans and campaigns, overseeing membership communications, and supporting our CEO and wider team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of the UK's music management community.

Membership organisation or music industry experience is desirable though not necessary.

Responsibilities



Lead the creation and scheduling of engaging content across all MMF social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook). Produce a weekly newsletter and manage ongoing member communications. Oversee updates and content on the MMF website, ensuring it remains fresh and informative. Use social and web analytics to drive strategy and engagement. Manage the MMF Facebook Group and monitor public sentiment, responding in coordination with our CEO and PR advisor when needed. Provide prompt and professional support through the info@ inbox. Help members with subscription queries and maintain our CRM system. Provide diary and meeting support to the CEO. Attend Board and operational meetings and be responsible for accurate recording and distribution of minutes. Attend industry events and use social media to promote the MMF presence.

What We're Looking For



Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with social media management and content creation. Demonstrable skills with website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress). Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. A proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently and in a small team. Interest in or experience with the music industry is a bonus!

Hours

: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location

: Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week at our London office

: Senior Operations Manager
