This role will offer the individual the opportunity to progress their careers through quality, hands-on experience within a supportive and agile PR & Communications team environment.

The day-to-day role will involve written, graphic and video content creation, content writing for web, blogs, and other marketing assets, social media planning and management, website and digital ad management, and email marketing. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and executing organic and paid content strategies for social media and digital platforms, supporting key communication objectives, and will excel at embracing brand tone of voice to develop engaging, on-brand communications that resonate with diverse business and consumer audiences spanning across the UK and Ireland and further afield.

Key Responsibilities



1. Developing and delivering digital communications strategies, social media plans and web content plans in line with client brands and campaigns, maintaining engagement and reporting campaign results to Senior Management and clients.

2. Researching and drafting client proposals and contributing to the development of client communications strategies and campaigns.

3. Handling social media enquiries and maintaining community engagement, ensuring appropriate protocol is maintained.

4. Contributing to creative direction of wider content strategy to optimise and grow digital channels, ensuring consistent inclusion of new creative ideas.

5. Liaising with video team to brief in video content, contributing to drafting scripts for video

6. Website copywriting and blog writing for SEO and to tie in with wider marketing objectives.

7. On-the-ground coordination of social media activities for events and delivery of associated communications activity and as required including media and photography.

8. Strong working knowledge of key influential social media accounts / influencers and ability to make recommendations for potential collaborations on behalf of clients.

9. Evaluation of client coverage and campaigns, compiling tables and graphs to highlight results gained and reporting outcomes to campaign objectives.

10. Management of agency media monitoring portal, reviewing coverage as it comes through, including in relevant client reports, and liaising with media monitoring supplier.

11. Copywriting duties specific to the production of clients' marketing materials for a wide range of digital, print and social platforms.

12. Drafting client update reports and providing administrative support including client liaison for approvals, updates and reporting, and responding to queries.

Essential Criteria



Digitally-minded individual with experience in social media, creative content development, copywriting for SEO, and digital advertising

Experience using Meta Business Manager, Twitter / X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube in a professional capacity (uploading content, reviewing performance analytics, setting up social media ads and monitoring performance)

Experience using website development platforms like SquareSpace and Wordpress for updating copy / photography and posting blogs

Working knowledge of video, photo and graphic editing platforms including Canva and Capcut (or equivalent)

A high level of professional communication, writing and organisational skills

Self-motivated, creative and proactive individual

Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and operate within tight deadlines

Expert knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable Criteria



An eye for photography and ability to capture appropriate photography and basic video content via mobile

Experience and knowledge of Google PPC advertising

In possession of or working towards a degree-level qualification in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or Public Relations or a CIPR / CIM recognised qualification or accreditation

Workload Expectations

The successful candidate should be prepared to undertake a blend of remote and in-office working and would be seen as a valuable member of the team with real responsibilities and offering valuable input into client campaigns.
