DC Thomson has a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and creative communications professional to help them deliver stories across the business as they complete their stage of transform, positively impacting their culture. Iconic Resourcing are partnering with them as we look for someone to join their communications team to be responsible for creating compelling content for both internal and external audiences and helping to manage and develop our communications channels.

DC Thomson want you to bring to life their people strategy, creating compelling content for both internal and external audiences, influencing and shaping how they engage with colleagues, managing and developing communications channels and events.

DC Thomson\xe2\x80\x99s new Communications Executive will have a positive attitude and be motivated to quickly build relationships and seek out stories from across the business. You will be an excellent writer with creative flair and brimming with ideas and imagination. With a natural curiosity, you will be keen to learn new skills and try new tactics as the group strive to constantly improve. You\xe2\x80\x99ll seek out new, impactful and thought provoking stories from across the business, and use a variety of marketing tools to tell these.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for, from you:

• Creating content to drive engagement with colleagues
• Supporting with the organisation and delivery of engagement events
• Developing internal communications channels including newsletters and employee hub
• Supporting with external communications including press releases, social media and websites
• Bringing creative ideas to the team on content and trends
• Monitoring and evaluating the success of our communications strategy, striving for continuous improvement

This role offers the flexibility to work a hybrid model from either Glasgow or Dundee, and offer a 35 hour working week.
