We are looking forward for a graduate to come and join us in the communications team at STFC's Daresbury Laboratory, enabling them to gain experience in both external and internal communications. You'll also be working as part of the wider communications team across our offices in Daresbury, Edinburgh and Didcot.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
As an integral part of the team, we will support you so that you can:
Create and distribute media releases and coordinate additional materials such as photography, video and interview requests
Be responsible for producing digital materials for use across a range of platforms, including video, photography and audio files
Create content for our social media platforms which is engaging and accessible
Write long form articles for a variety of platforms
Assist with the monitoring of social media channels and the evaluation of social media output
Chip in to corporate communications
Design and implement campaigns around strategic themes, for example impacts
Give general business support to all parts of communications, including joining a rota for the monitoring of group inboxes
Support the Internal Communications team with content creation and event support as required
Establish relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to assist in the delivery of your work
Become an early careers champion for the organisation
Person Specification
In order to apply for the role we are looking for the following:
Essential:
Achieved, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree, in a relevant field of study (S)
Have the right to live and work in the UK at time of starting employment (S)
Have experience in a communications role. This could be a paid role, part of your studies, or a voluntary role (S)
Have experience using social media across a variety of platforms.(S&I)
Can show organisational skills. (S&I)
Have communication skills (S&I)
Can show examples of digital content creation such as video making, animation or photography (S&I)
Ability to multi task and prioritise work (I)
