Job Description



Reporting to the Head of Global Communications, we are looking for someone who can create and deliver a robust communication plan to support the company-wide roll-out of a major business transformation programme designed to support the delivery of our Growth+ company strategy. The role is fast paced requiring an experienced individual who can influence at all levels globally and who has a proven experience developing and delivering communication strategies including change, stakeholder management, content development, channel selection and feedback mechanisms with the goal of engaging and winning hearts and minds across the company. Key responsibilities and outcomes:

  • Work with the Central and Local Programme Teams to develop and execute the transformation communications strategy, aligning with the overall deployment plan and using the communications playbook and supporting assets to ensure consistency across the company.
  • Help to position the transformation as a key enabler of our Growth+ company strategy and our core values.
  • Develop engaging communications that speak to multiple global audiences with the goal of winning hearts and minds to ensure the successful roll-out of the transformation.
  • Consider the Change Management curve and ensure the tone of communications is in line with the assessment of where sites/individuals are in the change process.
  • Use feedback mechanisms to ensure the effectiveness of communications and put in place interventions as required to continuously improve.
  • Provide strategic updates to multiple stakeholders and establish a measurement dashboard to show the impact and progress of communications.
About you:
  • Previous experience operating across a global matrix organisation would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing communications strategies and plans to support major change projects including stakeholder mapping, message development, channel selection and supporting content creation.
  • A strong written and oral communicator with a flair for storytelling, strong attention to detail and the ability to write in \xe2\x80\x98plain English\xe2\x80\x99 to ensure stakeholder awareness and understanding.
  • Understand cultural and generational norms across global and diverse organisations and how they influence communications.
  • Have excellent communication skills to effectively influence and convey messages to different teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to work with in a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals.
  • Can work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Have strong analytical skills to analyse data and information to identify company needs.
  • Proven project management skills to manage schedules and resources.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to influence and build and maintain relationships with different teams and stakeholders.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, advertising, or business psychology.
  • Experience in developing and executing communication strategies to support major change programmes in a global environment.
