Job Advert Are you an experienced Communications professional seeking a new role? If so, we\'re in search of a Communications Manager who is a masterful storyteller.
You will take joy in blending traditional communication methods with modern technological advancements such as Generative AI to create compelling content that speaks to both our internal team and external audiences.
As a self-motivated individual, you will take initiative in your projects, thriving both on independent challenges and as an integral part of our collaborative environment. Your exceptional communication skills will shine through in your ability to tailor messages across a variety of platforms, ensuring clarity and impact whether addressing colleagues or clients.
While you will have a finger on the pulse of AI trends, your primary commitment will be to the creation and delivery of top-tier, engaging communications that articulate our firm\'s ethos and advance our strategic goals to all segments of our audience.
This role will be based in our Cambridge office with adhoc travel to Oxford.
What you\'ll be doing
Marketing Communications

  • Writing high-quality and engaging copy for both external & internal communication channels
  • Developing creative and strategic copy for a wide range of marketing materials including blog articles, landing pages, social media content, email campaigns and more.
  • Collaborating closely with the marketing team to understand target audiences, brand voice, and campaign objectives
  • Delivering email marketing campaigns to maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they stay informed and engaged, by consuming our blogs and thought leadership content
  • Supporting the creation of email communications via our e-marketing software
  • Utilising Al tools and platforms to enhance copywriting processes, generate data-driven insights, and optimise content performance.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to produce content for the website
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute video concepts that engage and resonate with target audiences, considering messaging, visual storytelling, and call-to-action elements
  • Generating compelling and engaging campaigns and content for various channels (website, social media, YouTube, etc), and promotional materials.
  • Creating case studies of successful projects, collecting and promoting client testimonials
  • Writing service descriptions in alignment with Bidwells\xe2\x80\x99 tone of voice
  • Copywriting for other core web pages as required

Internal communications
  • Implementing the internal communications strategy through a range of mediums, including but not exclusive to: intranet, email, KIT meetings, screens, Thymo, other company meetings etc.
  • Writing internal news stories for multiple channels, including intranet
  • Creating and delivering Bidwells\xe2\x80\x99 monthly internal digital newsletter
  • Sourcing and managing images for use on all channels
  • Scheduling and managing regular internal email updates to all divisions of the business
  • Managing and regularly updating internal digital screens with new and engaging content
  • Creating and distributing digital content through other internal digital channels
  • Supporting the dissemination and engagement of Bidwells group and divisional strategies
  • Coordinating content delivery with marketing and BD team
  • Working with other BSS teams on internal communications requirements to ensure all communications are planned and delivered in line with the Bidwells brand

About you
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in writing, reviewing and editing high-quality content
  • At least one years\' experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, with practical experience of writing marketing content
  • Passion for language, creativity, and innovation, and a desire to push the boundaries of what is possible with AI-generated content
  • A basic understanding of AI technology
  • A first-class team player - willing to help on projects outside of their personal remit and contributing ideas and suggestions for the benefit of the team
  • Some experience with the software (including AI) tools we use is a plus, but training will be given on: ChatGPT, Claude 2, Fireflies.AI, Otter, Descript, Bard, Bing, PlayPlay, Zapier, MidJourney, Hubspot and others
  • Excellent video script creation editing skills
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Active / relevant experience of social media
  • An ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to pick and learn new systems quickly and efficiently
  • An interest in the property industry and/or land management sector
