Communications Manager - Leading Law Firm - up to \xc2\xa365,000 p/annum + benefits

Morgan McKinley are working in partnership with a Leading Law Firm who are looking to hire a Communications Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting, newly created opportunity reporting into the Senior PR Manager and working closely with the Head of Communications across a broad range of initiatives.

As Communications Manager your duties will include;

• Supporting UK, Ireland and Middle East with executing on communications deliverables
• Devising and executing communications plans across a range of topics including people and culture, revenue generating business, technology and innovation
• Co-ordination of awards and league table submissions on behalf of the firm
• Supporting the Senior PR Manager with fielding inbound queries from national and legal media contacts
• Play a hands-on role in the successful day-to-day running of the Press office
• Produce content for both internal and external audiences relation to financial results and key business news ie. New Partner appointments/promotions
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development teams in order to generate strategic success stories to be used as media coverage/engagement
• Proactively monitoring key industry trends, competitors and opportunities for the firm
• Take responsibility for managing communications requirements relating to key strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities

Successful candidates will have;

• Prior experience working within Corporate Communications, Media Relations or Public Relations
• Knowledge of the legal industry, competitors, themes, issues etc
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders
• The ability to create engaging content from scratch
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables at any given time
