An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive, energetic and collaborative Communications Manager to join a global law firm serving the world\xe2\x80\x99s most innovative people and businesses. The Communications Manager will be a key member of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s UK-based communications team and will play an important role in delivering communications services to the business in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East. You will lead a broad range of strategic communications activities to promote the firm\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities, practitioners and successes in support of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s ambitious growth strategy. Reporting to the Senior PR Manager and working closely with the Head of Communications, the successful applicant will be responsible for devising and executing communications plans to support revenue-driving activities, people and culture-focused strategies, and the firm\xe2\x80\x99s exciting technology and innovation programmes. Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities and best practices to identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing the firm\'s approach to communications, the role holder will act as an advisor to senior stakeholders and will develop and execute communications strategies for a broad range of strategic priorities and developments, such as lateral partner hires, new office openings, people strategy updates, responsible business strategy and new digital products and innovations. Key responsibilities will include supporting the day-to-day management of press office activity; planning and managing cyclical business announcements such as annual new partner promotions and financial results; monitoring the client targeting programme and BD activity to capture strategic success stories to promote across external channels; and coordinating the firm\'s awards and league tables submissions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in corporate communications, including roles in professional services, legal or related industries, and a track record of planning strategic communications exercises and successfully executing PR campaigns and tactics, securing media coverage, and managing media relations. Law firm experience is not prerequisite, but a sound knowledge of the legal market and issues affecting law firms will be essential. Self-motivated, professional and able to work effectively under pressure, the Communications Manager will possess outstanding writing and editorial skills and a strong ability to inspire confidence and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Previous exposure to and knowledge of the Technology, Media and Communications, Life Sciences and Healthcare, Real Estate and Private Wealth sectors will be highly advantageous.
